  • 1. What is blended BDS training, and how does it differ from traditional in-person training?
Blended BDS training combines online eLearning modules with personalized coaching. It offers flexibility and a tailored approach, allowing trainees to learn at their own pace and receive individualized guidance.
  • 2. Will blended training be effective for our diverse target groups including those who cannot read or write?
Yes, blended training can be customized to address the unique needs of different groups. It provides a mix of self-paced online learning and one-on-one coaching to ensure a dynamic and comprehensive learning experience. Our eLearning modules include various multimedia elements such as videos, images, and audio. This allows learners to access and understand the content through visual and auditory means, reducing the reliance on reading and writing skills.
  • 3. What if majority of our learners do not have access to smart phones and internet connectivity?
We can assess the tech readiness of your trainees and offer solutions like mobile-friendly content, downloadable materials, or even setting up physical learning centres in areas with limited connectivity. Project funds saved from reduced logistics costs could be used to support learners to access smartphones and data bundles. Pay-as-you-go payment model can also be exploited to make it easier for learners to acquire smartphones.
  • 4. What are the cost implications of transitioning to blended training compared to traditional methods?
Our plug and play learning App, courses, and coaches will save you initial development costs. Project funds saved from expenses related to travel, accommodation, and venue rentals can be used to subsdize cost cost of learning devices and data bundles.
  • 5. How can we maintain the human touch and personal interaction that our trainees value in traditional training?
Blended training still includes personalized coaching, ensuring that trainees receive one-on-one support and guidance. This approach maintains a human connection while utilizing eLearning benefits.
  • 6. Can we track the progress and performance of our trainees effectively with blended training?
Blended training platforms offer robust analytics and reporting tools, allowing you to monitor trainee progress and performance in real-time, helping you make data-driven decisions.
  • 7. Are the eLearning modules available in languages that our target groups can understand?
We can provide content in multiple languages, including English and Swahili, to ensure accessibility to a broader audience.
  • 8. How can we transition smoothly from traditional in-person training to blended training without disrupting our ongoing projects?
We can work with you to create a phased transition plan, ensuring minimal disruption to your current projects while gradually implementing the blended training approach. We will also train your project teams and provide them with ongoing support and necessary tools.
  • 9. What is the evidence of the effectiveness of blended BDS training for similar organizations and target groups?
We can provide case studies and success stories from our reputable clients that have successfully adopted blended training for similar target groups. These examples demonstrate the positive impact and results.
  • 10. How can we ensure trainee engagement and motivation with eLearning modules?
We incorporate interactive elements, quizzes, discussions, and practical assignments in our eLearning modules to keep trainees engaged and motivated throughout the learning process.
  • 11. How reliable is your technology (learning platform) and how do we know that your content is of the right standard and quality?
Our learning platform is powered by Ispring, a 22-year-old company servicing several fortune 500 companies and with a strong footprint in over 172 countries. atl is an industry leader in BDS and partners with world-leading agencies such as IFC to develop expert-based high quality training programs. We can share case studies and client testimonials for your reference.
  • 12. What if we have invested in our own training curriculum and materials?
That is not a problem either. We can work together to fully digitize your training or to align your curriculum and training materials with our available online courses.
  • 13. What if we already have engaged our pre-qualified BDS consultants?
That's not a problem at all. We can seamlessly integrate our blended BDS training approach into your existing workflow. Your pre-qualified BDS consultants can continue to play a crucial role in the training process. They can use our eLearning platform to deliver the "eLearn" component of the blended BDS while providing coaching services.
  • 14. How long does it take to complete a course?
With good planning and use of automated and coach support, learners can complete a 4–5-day equivalent training program in 3 months, spending only 8 minutes of learning in the morning and 8 minutes in the evening.
